NEW BROGANS -  Now At A  Special Introductory Price

NOKB -New Orleans Kip Brogan

New Orleans Kip Brogan:  Just before the war,  these shoes were massed produced, and  sold all the way upriver to Memphis, Tennessee.  At the outbreak of the war they were eagerly being bought up to supply early volunteers.  Russet brown shoes with single thickness soles,  two rows of pegs and pegged heel. (heel rims suggested for better wear!)  The quarters are doubled and machine chain stitched just as the original shoes were.  Vamp of shoe has a pieced tongue  attached with the same chain stitching.  The brogan is closed with chain stitching and a rivet for reinforcement.
