Magee, Horter and George Cartridge Box

The cartridge box has both shoulder and waist belt loops and a tool pouch.  Boxes bearing the Magee, Horter and George maker's mark were made prior to September of 1861. This Cartridge Box utilizes the imported British cartridge box finial. The black square flapped box has two tins, shoulder and waist belt loops. Optional tool pouch. It is theorized that the tool pouch may have been dispensed with in favor of saving leather. The theory being that only sergeants were issued boxes with a tool pouch. Cartridge Box tins are included at no extra charge.
