This design was taken from a hobnail pattern that was on an original pair of the British Import Bluchers that appeared in a set of Time-Life books entitled Echos of Glory. Customers quickly begin asking us to put the "Echo of Glory" pattern on our reproductions of British Import Bluchers we were already making. So the EOG pattern design was born.
