J. A. Lisk Cartridge Box With Shoulder Belt Sold As A Set

This cartridge box is a faithful copy of the original carried by Sgt John Amos Lisk, who served in Co. F, 44th North Carolina Infantry from March 21, 1862 until his capture on October 27, 1864 at the Battle of Boydton Plank Road near Petersburg, Virginia. Lisk was imprisoned at Point Lookout, Maryland until he was paroled on March 28, 1865. His cartridge box was a close copy of a .69 caliber 1839 box and made to accept a narrow shoulder strap. So we offer this box as a set with the matching shoulder belt. The tins for the box are included at no extra charge. The Lisk Cartridge box is a great for an Army of Northern Virginia impression.
