Atlanta Arsenal Cartridge Box, Cap Box and Waist Belt with C.S.A. Plate
The Atlanta Cartridge Box utilizes the imported British cartridge box finial. The black square flapped box has two tins, shoulder and waist belt loops. Optional tool pouch. It is theorized that the tool pouch may have been dispensed with in favor of saving leather. The theory being that only sergeants were issued boxes with tool pouches. Remember this is a theory only. (Specify with or without tool pouch)
The box is made of top grade leather, hand sewn with hand waxed linen thread and has a hand applied period finish. Tins are included at no extra charge.

Our Atlanta Cap Pouch is copied from an original specimen and made of top grade leather. Hand sewn with hand waxed thread and finished out with a hand applied period finish. It is marked on the outer flap with the diminutive Atlanta Arsenal stamp. The turned brass finial is shaped distinctively and is specially made for this item. The Atlanta Arsenal in Atlanta, GA was a major supplier of materiel to the Confederate Army. It produced both ammunition, accoutrements and materiels. In 1863-64 the Atlanta Arsenal employed nearly 5,500 men and women. Atlanta Arsenal accoutrements are good for a western Confederate impression.
