BO-4 Butterfly Cut Top 17 x 22 Inch Boot
These sharp looking boots have the "butterfly cut" knee flap that seem to have been rather popular during the time period. There are several existing examples that were used by Union and Confederate soldiers as well as civilians. They are 17 x 22 inch tall, made of 5-6 ounce waxed flesh leather and have pegged half double soles. The heels are hand nailed with iron square cut nails.
