Our Boyd .58 Caliber Rifle Musket Accoutrements Set is hand crafted of top grade leather. The set features a Cartridge Box with the impressive Boyd & Son oval makers mark on the inside flap. It is paired with an 1861 Cap Box, a Waist Belt with loop, a matching Shoulder Belt, a 2 Rivet Bayonet Scabbard and an Oval Brass U. S. Waist Belt and Eagle Plate. The Oval Brass Plate is backed with leather and the Boyd & Son Makers Mark is struck into the leather backing of the plate. Each leather part of the set of made of the correct weight leather and is hand sewn with hand waxed linen thread. The period finish is hand applied to finish out the items. All hardware is period correct of correct materials and design.Each item is a faithful copy of its original counterpart.
