This Boyd & Son Pattern 1861 Cartridge Box & Cap Box Combo consist of the .58 caliber rifled musket Cartridge Box and matching Cap Box both are made of top grade leather.
Both boxes are hand stitched with hand waxed linen thread using the correct stitches per inch. The Cap Box is correctly lined with lame's wool All hardware is period correct of correct materials and design. The period finish is hand applied to finish out the two boxes. Each item is a faithful copy of its original counterpart. The Cartridge Box comes complete with the hand made tins and the Cap Box with a cone pick both included with the boxes at no extra charge.
