Missouri Boot & Shoe is proud to offer our reproduction of the distinctive Boyd and Sons Pattern 1861 .58 caliber Rifle Musket Accoutrement Set. The Set includes the cartridge box, cap box, shoulder belt, waist belt and a two rivet bayonet scabbard. The cartridge box has the distinctive oval Boyd & Sons makers mark on the inside flap. The shoulder belt plate and the waist belt plate are stamped brass, block tin filled and correctly installed on the accoutrement set. The waist belt plate has a puppy paw style back with leather backing. Stamped into the leather is the Boyd & Sons Boston makers mark.
