The Pattern 1839 Carbine Pattern Cartridge Box was made for use on a waist belt only. They were made exactly like the Rifle Cartridge Box but without the tool pouch. Our boxes are hand sewn with period finish applied to the leather. Each box is a faithful copy of its original counterpart and comes with hand made tins. The box used a small stamped brass, block tin filled box plate. You may add one to your order for additional cost before you check out.
